The International Multidisciplinary Modeling & Simulation Multiconference (I3M) took place this year in Budapest. The European Modelling & Simulation Symposium (EMSS) and The International Conference on Modeling & Applied Simulation (MAS) are two of those conferences. While the colleagues from HeuristicLab are not only regulars, but with FH-Prof. PD DI Dr. Michael Affenzeller also co-organizers, also two of our colleagues Gerald Zwettler and Andreas Pointner were able to participate this year.
At the MAS, Gerald presented the work “Towards Retooling The Microsoft HoloLens As Outdoor AR And MR Device”, which was created as part of the Drive for Knowledge (d4k) project.
At EMSS, Andreas presented the work “Model-Based Image Processing Approaches for Automated Person Identification And Authentication In Online Banking”, which was developed as part of the Plan Analysis using Self-learning Solutions (PASS) project.
