Within the framework of the “Traumberufe Technik Tage”, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and the Johannes Kepler University Linz offer students a practical insight into the study and professional world of technicians in the Upper Austrian economy. Our colleagues Gerald Zwettler, Elisabeth Mayrhuber and Christoph Praschl were allowed to present the students within the workshop “Computer-aided diagnostics: The view inside the patient” an introduction into the analysis of high-resolution three-dimensional image data sets. During the workshop, the participants were able to take a virtual look inside the human body and take a closer look at the abdomen as well as the brain of two patients.
