dHealth 2026

Our research group was once again represented at this year’s dHealth Conference in Vienna by our colleague Andreas Pointner. There, he presented the paper “Managing Incompatible FHIR Implementation Guides in a Single Backend.” In his presentation, he used two examples from Germany to illustrate the challenges that can arise from incompatible FHIR implementation guides and how these can be elegantly resolved using namespaces in graph databases.

Since 2007, the dHealth Conference has been one of the most important events in the field of digital health and health informatics. Under the motto “Health Informatics meets Digital Health,” the conference brings together researchers, companies, public institutions, and healthcare organizations annually to discuss innovative digital solutions for a more efficient and higher-quality healthcare system. Of particular note is the close exchange between research and practice, which enables new perspectives and joint innovations.
