The SIGGRAPH 2024 conference in Denver, USA, recently brought together the global community of computer graphics, computer vision and interactive techniques for a week of innovation, collaboration and discovery. Among the many presentations, our colleague Christoph Praschl, together with colleagues from the Digital Media Lab, was able to present the latest publication in the BAMBI research project on ‘Reconstructionless Airborne Radiance Fields’ (https://github.com/bambi-eco/RARF) during the session on Fast Radiance Fields. The team invited participants to explore the possibilities of this technique. As part of the ‘Posters: Images, Video & Computer Vision’ session, the presentation sparked a lively discussion about the future of Radiance Fields and their applications in various industries.
