This year Gerald Zwettler and Andreas Pointner had the pleasure to attend the WSCG 2021 in Pilsen. Due to the Covid situation, the conference was held virtually. Gerald was allowed to present “Transfer Learning and Hyperparameter Optimization for Instance Segmentation with RGB-D Images in Reflective Elevator Environments”. This showed the results from the EDEN project, with a focus on detecting reflections in elevators. The paper “Line Clustering and Contour Extraction in the Context of 2D Building Plans” was presented by Andreas, summarizing the transformation results from the PASS project.
