Research stay Mayo Clinic

From July 2019 to February 2020, Gerald Zwettler worked as an external scientist at the research center of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota (USA) in the research group “Biomedical Imaging Resource Core” of Dr. Holmes III. During this time he researched in the research field of deep learning for computer-aided diagnostics and wrote numerous publications in the course of his research. In addition, he held an IEEE Talk on “U-NET DEEP LEARNING STRATEGIES FOR SLICE-WISE SEGMENTATION OF TOMOGRAPHIC 3D DATASETS” as well as a presentation for the doctoral students of the Mayo Medical School.
