Project Spectory

The aim of the researchproject Spectory is the development of an Augmented Reality (short: AR) system for mobile devices for the visualization of alternative, virtual floors. The research focus is the detection of the ground floor using AR-Frameworks in combination with additional Computer Vision approaches. Use cases of the system are in the field of renovation or real estate brokerage. While in the field of renovation it can be used for the replaning of rooms, it can be used for real estate brokerage for virtually applying costumers´s change requests as basis for discussion. The research project is a cooperation with the research group HIVE and the company Spectory.
