Project Rudy Games

i2f – Interface2Face Mixreality Game

In this project, classical boardgames are extended using mixed reality technologies, allowing multiple players to interact with real and virtual elements simultaneously. Different boardgame components, like dice, the board and figures are improved with AR-technology, communication sensors and software to provide a unique, surprising and thrilling game for up to 4 different players. Said technology also allows further improvements later on during development. In this project, the requirements for such a system are evaluated, a conecpt is designed and a prototyp for testing the system is developed.

Combined Card Games

The objective of this research project is to develop a game design which combines playing cards with an app. A combined card game inherits the advantages of a dynamic game world and those of a parlor game. Focus is set on the technical aspect (NFC, image recognition), which aims to make playing cards an integrated part of a game application. This innovative game design has the chance to gain new customers on the gaming market.
