Drive for Knowledge
In this project Augmented Reality Glasses are used to implement a Driving Safety Training in a real car. The project is aimed at training persons in civil service (such as police, firefighters and ambulance drivers) in stressful and/or emergency situations. During the training sensors collect information on the simulation and the user, such as reaction-times vitalsigns and other data. These are provided to instructors and users as feedback for further improvement.
One big part of this project is the correct estimation of the position and orientation in outdoor applications. The orientational part was funded by Easy2Research and the positioning part by FFG.

Realsimulator
In this project a car was expanded with additionals sensors so it can be used for training simulations in the real vehicle without any real danger. The sensors are used to make the real world interactions available in the virtual environment.
