First International Conference on Process Mining

In June the first International Conference on Process Mining took place in Aachen Germany. Thanks to the lecture of Process Mining in the Masters of Data Science and Engineering in Hagenberg, David Baumgartner and Emmanuel Helm were able to participate and presented the Process
Pruner: A Tool for Sequence-Based EventLog Preprocessing beside the other demos. The goal is to extract the most frequent behavior in an event log and highlighting outliers that do not fit that set of found behavior. The Process Mining community steadily increases and is gaining significant momentum in the research community with insight from a process perspective.
