The research group AIST was allowed to present the project Drive4Knowledge together with the company RealSim around Thomas Peterseil at the Open Day of the FH Oberösterreich at the Campus Hagenberg. In cooperation with the ÖAMTC, augmented reality training simulations were shown with the help of Microsoft HoloLens in the context of driving safety training to prepare novice drivers for dangers in everyday traffic. In the simulation shown, a virtual person suddenly crossed an unclear crosswalk. This event was triggered automatically based on the position of the driver or vehicle.
