In the course of the research cooperation with Weigl Control GmbH, concepts for the analysis and automatic prediction of the emotional state of a person are developed. In the context of a wellness couch, that is equipped with sensors, different information is collected which, through the use of machine learning algorithms, allows conclusions to be drawn about the person’s emotional state and stress levels. Methods such as time-series forecasting are used, which should make it possible to determine a future trend in the development of a person’s current emotional state on the basis of historical measurement data.
