MARIE

MARIE - Mobile Robotic Assistance for Office Environments

The MARIE project investigated how robots and digital assistants can be used in office and administrative environments and integrated into existing workflows, so that they make everyday work easier without overwhelming the people involved. Selected tasks are to be taken over by a robot or a digital assistant. Integrating such systems calls for several disciplines to work together – human-machine interaction, artificial intelligence and human factors. The goal was to build a platform of digital assistant and robot that supports everyday work at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
