As part of the CV4Animals workshop, he presented the paper \u201cThe BAMBI Dataset: Multimodal Nadir UAV Recordings of Forest Wildlife\u201d together with Hugo Markoff from Aalborg University (Denmark) and Sara Beery from MIT (USA).<\/p>\n<p>The focus is on the drone-based wildlife dataset created as part of the BAMBI project. It comprises multimodal nadir recordings of wildlife in forest areas and forms an important foundation for AI-supported wildlife monitoring.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation at the CV4Animals Workshop underscores the international relevance and collaborations of the BAMBI project and demonstrates how drone technology and computer vision are opening up new possibilities for nature conservation, wildlife ecology, and monitoring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our colleague Christoph Praschl attended this year\u2019s CVPR 2026 in Denver.
