During the conference, he presented his current research titled \u201cEvaluation of Novel View Synthesis in the Context of Radiometric Drone Imagery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this work, he and his colleagues investigated how modern neural rendering approaches such as NeRF and 3D Gaussian Splatting perform on radiometric drone imagery. A particular highlight of the conference was the paper being honored with the Best Student Paper Award.
